What determines the price?
Every piano and access route is different. Your written estimate describes the assessed moving work and applicable charges, rather than a single flat price for every instrument. Piano type, size, construction and required preparation. Crew, moving equipment, protection and time needed. Stairs, tight access, elevators, carry distance and parking. Pickup-to-delivery travel and agreed timing. Additional household items or accessories included in the move.

Do you move upright, grand and digital pianos?
Yes. We move upright, grand and digital pianos. Send the make, model and access details so we can confirm the approach for your particular instrument. Grand and baby grand preparation depends on the piano and route.
Can you move a piano up stairs or into an apartment?
We assess stairs, landings, doors and elevators before accepting the move. Send photos and measurements at both properties, along with any building loading or elevator rules, so the required crew and equipment can be considered.
Should I dismantle the piano before you arrive?
Please agree preparation with us first. Some moves need components removed; others do not. The handling plan and any reassembly requirements should be confirmed in your estimate. Digital piano preparation should follow its model’s transport instructions.
Will my acoustic piano need tuning after moving?
Temperature and humidity changes can affect an acoustic piano. Ask a qualified piano technician when to check tuning and how to care for it in the new room. Moving and tuning are separate services.
Can you collect a piano from a seller or include it in my home move?
Yes, tell us which arrangement you need. For seller collection, share their address, collection window and access details before agreeing a pickup date. For a household move, identify the piano separately in your inventory so its handling is planned.
