Can I book a move that starts outside British Columbia?
Yes. Send the origin and destination communities anywhere in Canada. Take A Load Off Moving can arrange eligible long-distance bookings through the GCVL network. The actual route, dates and service scope are confirmed before booking.
Does my shipment need to go through Nanaimo?
No. Your request is planned around the pickup and destination you provide. A Nanaimo or Vancouver Island stop is relevant only if it belongs in your actual route.
Will the same truck and crew handle every stage?
The transportation and handling arrangement depends on the service selected. Ask which carrier and teams handle pickup, line-haul and delivery, and whether transfers, shared loads or additional handling are part of the plan. Do not assume one arrangement applies to every booking.
How long will a cross-country move take?
The delivery window depends on your route, shipment, loading date, carrier scheduling and access. Weather and crossings can affect the plan. Confirm the expected window in writing and tell us about possession dates or building delivery restrictions.
Can you help with packing or a storage gap?
