How to Make Your December Move Stress-Free

Relocating during the holidays may seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Here are a few tips from our moving experts to make your December move as smooth as possible:

1. Plan Early

December is a busy time for everyone, infact its The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. So book your move as soon as possible. Reach out to us at 250-616-7854 or email us at [email protected] to secure your spot. Early planning ensures you get the date that works best for your schedule.

2. Declutter Before You Pack

Take advantage of the season of giving to declutter your home. Donate gently used items to local charities or recycling programs. Not only will you lighten your load, but you’ll also bring joy to someone in need.

3. Label Everything Clearly

When packing, label your boxes with details about their contents and destination. For holiday decorations or gifts, mark those boxes so they’re easy to find and unpack first.

Moving during the holidays means you’ll want quick access to winter gear, holiday décor, and other essentials. Keep these items in a separate box that travels with you for easy access.
